Alexandra Maria Lara, a Romanian and German actor who is employed in film and TV is best known for films like Rush and Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Alexandra was the only child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. When she was sixteen, she had been offered a variety of television roles including the lead role in the Downfall film Youth Without Youth Control. The role she played as Adolf Hitler's Secretary Traudl Jue, in Downfall (an Oscar-nominated historic war film) was both critically and commercially acclaimed.
