Alexandra-Maria-Lara
Alexandra Maria Lara has been an Romanian/German film and television actress for more than a decade. Alexandra is famous for her the roles she played in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control. Born as the only children of Romanian acting star Valentin Platareanu, Alexandra entered showbiz early and landed up playing lead roles in different TV dramas before she turned 16. Following her highly acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel, Alexandra went on to play other noteworthy parts, including Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudljunge on Downfall. The film received nominations for an Oscar and received critical and commercial popularity. The Reader and Der Baader Meinhof Komplex are also Oscar nominated films that feature female stars. Alexandra was involved in a variety of important international and national projects over the years. These include British biographical film Control as well as The Dust of Time as along with the French history mini-series Napoleon. In addition, she is an official jury member for each of The Transylvania International Film Festival and Cannes Film Festival.
