Aisling Bea

Aisling is a popular Irish comedian, who's been performing for a long time. Her birthplace was in Kildare Ireland on the 16th of March 1984. Bea was on QI together with Stephen Fry. Aisling O'Sullivan, also than her stage name Aisling Bea (born March 16, 1984), is an Irish actor, writer and stand-up comedian. Bea's acting career started in the year 2011, as a stand-up comedian, following her appearance in a few roles on Irish and British TV shows that began in 2009. Following 2012, she was being featured in sketch comedy programs or sitcoms as well as other similar shows. Following her win in the Edinburgh Comedy Awards she began to appear regularly on numerous panel shows for which she has become a fixture. She's been part of 8 Out of 10 Cats since 2016 and she is a popular contestant of the sister show 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. She was the child of Brian O'Sullivan as well as Helen O'Sullivan. Sinead is her younger sister. The only ever female to be a winner of the show So You Think You're Funny. She uses the surnamed Bea in honor of her deceased father. Aisling Claiodhnadh, born on March 16, 1984, in Kildare, County Kildare. The father of her Brian was an equine veterinarian who took his own life at the age of three. Bea was only three years old though she wasn't told about what happened to him until she was thirteen. The stage name Bea was in tribute to her father. Bea published an opinion piece in The Guardian, published in 2017, about her experience with suicide. Bea along with her younger sister Sinead were raised by their mother Helen (nee Moloney) who was a secondary school teacher and jockey trainer, as well as a an ex-professional jockey. Their family was horse and race meeting obsessed. Bea started out her career as a tour guide at the Irish National Stud. However Bea knew early that the race industry wasn't for her.
